The Afghan Hound Club of America National Specialty is not just a dog show, it is an annual gathering of those interested in perpetuating the Afghan Hound as well as a social and competitive event.
An event of this scale would never happen without the yearly contributions from the AHCA members and the Afghan Hound Community at large. As a personal donor we want to insure that each of our contributors are appropriately recognized for their generosity. As a donor, you'll not only receive heartfelt thanks from the Show Committee, but also a donor gift appropriate to your contribution.
Shipment of logo item gifts and catalogs will be available. Contact Erica with any questions or to find out more information. Note that the deadline is October 5, 2019 for inclusion in the show catalog and website (of course we'd still happily accept contributions after that date — we just want you to get the credit you deserve!). Also packages are limited. Once they are gone, they are gone!

2019 National Art Auction
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
A National Specialty Art Auction is one of the most anticipated events of the year. A place where the fancy have the rare opportunity to acquire rare and unique items that feature our beloved breed.
NEW FOR 2019: International artists will be invited to create a custom, high-value piece according to their interpretation of the “Spirit of Independence” theme. The artists will agree to have their piece advertised and to be sold to the highest bidder at the National Specialty live auction. These artists agree to donate a portion of their proceeds to the event.

2019 National Spirits, a Rainbow Bridge Memorial
Submissions are DUE BY October 15, 2019
NEW for 2019. The AHCA Rainbow Bridge Memorial Book. A perpetual collection of our Lost Spirits that will be on display during show hours at the National. Each entry will be two pages and will include You and your dog’s names, a color photo and up to a 150 word biography. Space is limited. The fee is a $30.00 donation, with 100% of the proceeds going to the annual AHCA Educational Seminar. More information contact chair Amy Mero at
